Donations help us pursue our mission and support our youth, community programs, outreach activities, educational opportunities, events, and organizational needs.

USE OF DONATIONS

Unless a contribution is accepted for a specific restricted purpose, donations may be used where reasonably needed to further PBC's charitable mission and operations.

When PBC accepts a donation for a specifically designated purpose, we will seek to use those funds consistently with that designation and applicable requirements.

DONATION RECEIPTS

When applicable, donors may receive an acknowledgment or receipt documenting their contribution.

Please retain your receipt for your records.

PBC does not provide individual tax or legal advice. Donors should consult a qualified tax professional regarding whether a contribution is deductible in their particular circumstances.

MERCHANDISE VS. DONATIONS

Purchasing merchandise from the PBC store is not automatically the same as making a charitable donation.

When a payment includes goods or services provided in exchange, different tax rules may apply. Any applicable charitable contribution information should be identified separately.

DONATION REFUNDS

Charitable donations are generally considered final once processed.

If you believe a donation was made accidentally, duplicated, or for an incorrect amount, please contact PBC promptly. Refund requests will be reviewed individually and handled in accordance with applicable law and payment-processing requirements.

RECURRING DONATIONS

If recurring giving is offered through our website, donors may request to cancel future recurring payments according to the instructions provided through the applicable donation platform or by contacting us for assistance.

Cancellation of future payments does not automatically refund donations that have already been processed.
